Join us for a refreshing Easter spring walk through the charming village of Theydon Bois and the surrounding Essex countryside. This 10km social hike is relaxed, friendly, and perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the brighter days, blooming hedgerows, and that unmistakable spring energy.

Designed to be welcoming and sociable, we’ll keep a steady, comfortable pace with plenty of time to chat, take in the scenery, and enjoy being outdoors together. It’s an uplifting way to make the most of the season, whether you’re shaking off the last of the winter hibernation or simply fancy a gentle Saturday adventure with good company.

Itinerary

09:45 AM – Arrive at Theydon Bois Station (please arrive early to allow time to park and get ready)

10:00 AM – Start the hike

12:00–12:30 PM – Arrive back at the station. Followed by drinks ( Venue TBC) and plenty of good company!

📍 Start Location: Theydon Bois Station, 19 Station Approach, Theydon Bois, Epping CM16 7HR, UK

🚗 Car: Parking available on site and surrounding streets (please car share where possible)

🚆 Train: Theydon Bois is on the Central Line

Food & Drink

🍴 Bring water and a small snack for the hike.

🍽 Afterwards, we’ll enjoy some pub drinks (Location TBC, Optional extra and drinks not included in the event price).
